PARIS LAKES MEDICAL CENTER
Paris, TX


MEP/FP and Civil Engineering and Technology Infrastructure Design Services are being provided. The project consists of a Mixed-use facility containing a Hospital, Hotel, Offices, Retail Center, Senior Living Center, Entertainment facilities and a large Residential area located on 500 acres. The development has a 125 bed Hospital situated on 12 acres with ground level parking allowing entrance roads to connect to the main highways. Adjacent to the Hospital, an area that supports 5,000 SF to 20,000 SF office/clinic buildings will be built. Each parking lot will be planned for one acre. A site will be sized for the Hotel that will be suitable for 150 keys on 2-stories and a future 100 keys. A retail center will be provided with parking and 2-story structures. The land area required for Phase I of the project includes 100 acres. Civil Engineering services included design of roads, parking, water and fire protection loop, gas service, sanitary sewer gravity lines and pumping station, and helicopter pad. The site lies on highly expansive clay soils, requiring special design considerations for pavements, foundations, and utilities.

CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL – CHAMBLEE CAMPUS
Chamblee, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The Centers for Disease Control Chamblee Campus is a 7-story office building containing 210,000 gross SF of shell space designed for future offices, and conference areas. The project includes a 4 level open parking deck for 518 cars. This project achieved LEED Gold.

GEORGIA PUBLIC HEALTH LABORATORY
Atlanta, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The Georgia Public Health Lab includes a 70,000 SF facility. The project encompassed Biosafety Level 3 laboratories, including testing for bacterial and viral infectious diseases, with requirements similar to clean room applications.

KAISER PERMANENTE CUMBERLAND MEDICAL CENTER

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The scope for the Kaiser Permanente Cumberland Medical Center included a comprehensive study and analysis of the existing HVAC system to determine the cause of the HVAC malfunctions. Services also include the preparation of conceptual designs and cost effective solutions to correct the HVAC malfunctions.

GRADY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. Services provided by TEC include: relocation of the hospital’s pharmacy, remodeling/renovation for a new x-ray facility involved extensive systems support renovation, the renovation/remodeling of the psychiatric ward rooms, lounges areas and installation of a sprinkler system.

STERN CARDIOVASCULAR CENTER
Memphis, TN


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. This facility was a tenant fit-up project of approximately 17,000 SF in an existing medical office building. Included in the facility were 40 exam rooms/individual offices, 2 eye wash stations, and one deluxe shower.

SKYLAND TRAIL MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC
Atlanta, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The Skyland Trail Mental Health Clinic is a 2-building complex, totaling approximately 30,000 SF and is estimated at a construction cost of $2.5 million. The facility is a day-care center and includes activity areas including a wood shop, gymnasium, photography, and residential kitchens.

ST. JOSEPH’S DOCTORS CENTER
Atlanta, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The St. Joseph’s Doctors Center is a 9-story, 220,000 SF medical office featuring a 12,750 SF atrium, covered patient parking, the Stella Maris Out-patient Center, and the Specialty Center for Cancer Care and Research.

Renovation of specific areas, designed in conjunction with the St. Joseph design criteria, were the Merci Boutique Tenant Improvements (2,000 SF), Shell space expansion into the atrium for future Tenant Improvement build-out (2,000 SF) and Resurgens Admin Space Tenant Improvements (1,000 SF).

The scope of work for the Resurgens MRI Suite includes the 1,200 SF equipment suite, control room and administrative space around the unit in conjunction with the St. Joseph design criteria.

The scope of work for the CT Suite includes the 2,500 SF equipment room, control room, waiting area, dressing rooms, rest rooms and offices in conjunction with the St. Joseph design criteria.

631 GWINNETT PHYSICIANS CENTER AT GWINNETT MEDICAL CENTER – LAWRENCEVILLE

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The 631 Gwinnett Physicians Center at Gwinnett Medical Center – Lawrenceville contains laboratory and testing facilities, physician practices, 631 Imaging Center (PET/CT & MRI) (Suite 190), Center for Cancer Care–Lawrenceville (Suite 450), Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons–Gwinnett Medical Group (Suite 200), Gwinnett Breast Center (Suite 250), Marion Allison Webb Center for Screening Mammography and Sandra J. Strickland Diagnostic Center.

ROCKDALE MEDICAL FACILITY
Conyers, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. This project included the relocation of the emergency room area, medical laboratories and obstetrics, renovation of the out-patient department, expansion of kitchen/dining facilities, addition of an operating suit and new education building with a 150-seat conference/meeting room.

CHILDREN’S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA HOSPITAL

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The project encompasses the modernization and renovation of approximately 3,000 SF of the existing second floor CICU area. The scope of design work includes the HVAC system, plumbing, fire protection, medical gas, electrical power lighting, communications, and fire alarm and life safety systems.

STONECREST MEDICAL PROMENADE

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The Stonecrest Medical Promenade is a 2-story medical office consisting of: Clinics Activity, Administrative, Common Room/Multi-purpose, Communications, Computer, Customer Service, Dental Clinics, Diagnostic Area, Doctor’s Offices, Equipment Bay, Equipment Storage, Examination, Meeting Room, MRI Area, Offices, Outpatient Clinics, Patient Rooms/Beds, Restroom, Specialized Clinics, Vehicle Parking, Waiting Area and, X-Ray.

ATLANTA OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center is an 8,000 SF out-patient facility with four surgical suites, recovery ward and administrative offices.

SADIE G. MAYS MEMORIAL HEALTH & REHABILITATION CENTER
Atlanta, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The Sadie G. Mays Memorial Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 64,368 SF, 206-bed non-profit facility in southwest Atlanta. The study produced 4 areas of energy improvements at an estimated implementation cost of $123,445 with a simple payback of 4.8 years.

BRYCE HOSPITAL
Tuscaloosa, AL


MEP/FP and Civil Engineering Services were provided. Renovation of 3 floors included the addition of patient beds, food service and laundry facilities. The main administration building currently houses 268 beds for acute care, treatment and rehabilitation of full-time (committed) patients.

ROOSEVELT WARM SPRINGS INSTITUTE FOR REHABILITATION
Warm Springs, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation includes: basketball court, indoor track, fitness center, 6-lane bowling alley, game room, 440-meter outdoor track, Rotary International Tennis Center, with 6 courts, softball field, 9-hole golf course, nature trail, 2 rustic lodges with 22 bedrooms (sleeps 77), 940-acre conference center, 400-seat auditorium and 100-seat classroom.

OCONEE MEDICAL CENTER – ATHENS EYE ASSOCIATES OPTOMETRY
Bogart, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided for the Athens Eye Associates Optometry office at the Oconee Medical Center. The Athens Eye Associates Optometry office is a 16,000 SF building which specializes in a variety of optical services, including eye exams, lens crafting, contacts, eyewear and a variety of accessories.

COFFEE REGIONAL MEDICAL FACILITY
Douglas, GA


MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The renovation program included 75 patient rooms, operating suites, scrub areas, laboratory, morgue, administration, cafeteria, pharmacy, and new central energy plant.

EAST CENTRAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL – GRACEWOOD CAMPUS
Gracewood, GA


Mechanical Engineering Services were provided. The East Central Regional Hospital Gracewood Campus project consisted of a study, evaluation and proposed program for replacement/modification of the steam distribution loop and air handling systems in all buildings. Also, a chiller/cooling tower addition to the existing central plant was designed.

VETERAN AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTERS

Tuskegee VA Medical Center, Tuskegee, AL – A study was performed for this VA Hospital. Measures identified included refrigeration of the campus-wide water distribution system to permit variable speed pumping and optimal selection of chillers. Other measures included a laundry heat reclaim system and an oxygen trim control for the boiler.

Atlanta VA Medical Center, Atlanta, GA – The renovation and remodeling of the VA’s hematology laboratory involved MEP/FP services.

Montgomery VA Medical Center, Montgomery, AL – MEP/FP services were provided for the three-story, 60,000 square foot office building located on a six-acre VA facility site. Steam and electrical utilities are supplied from the existing hospital’s utility infrastructure. A comprehensive energy study and optimization analysis was performed to establish systems and HVAC components.

Augusta VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA – MEP/FP services were provided for a new laundry facility and a sewer project.
